Worked closely with Rockwell Automation team to assist in their proposal and project plan (2017)
Provided Rockwell with plant information: Documented 17 PLCs and the ABB DCS system on both Line 1 (2018) and Line 2 (Late 2018-2019), including HMI in FTView
Negotiated scheduling and personnel management with electrical supervisor
Performed Factory Acceptance testing with Rockwell team in Wisconsin (Line 1 September 2018, Line 2 February 2019)
Created new redundant plant network using Rockwell networking standards, working with outside fiber contractors and Rockwell support
Performed startup of Line 1 (Sep/Oct 2018) and Line 2 (March 2019)
Acted as Lead engineer & plant liaison to Rockwell

Continued Support in 2019 in Contracting Role: Motion control update to another press platform
Controls retrofit for a compression rubber press, development and commissioning, with ongoing technical support for this press and others at the Lebanon, OR facility.
Technologies: Basic Hydraulics, Logix 500, SLC 505 processor, Delta RMC-75 Motion Controller, Automation Direct HMI & Software. Ongoing support.
Bulk Handling Systems (multiple projects) – Recycling Facility Control System Integration (2011-2015)
Continued Support in Contract role: 2019, acting as Controls Lead in Oman
Projects included the design and integration of MCC control centers for the operation of over 30 recycling centers for public and private recycling companies. Specific duties included:
Functional and test documentation, factory acceptance testing, and quality control
PLC programming, HMI Design using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform
Configuration of AB Motor starters and drives, various sensor and network technology design and configuration
Database management & SCADA systems support
Lead engineer role over a team of engineers, 2013-2015
Frequent remote support via VPN connections and phone. This includes motor starter, VFD drive, PLC, HMI, database, and SCADA system remote support.
On-Site startup support, electrical install & commissioning
Project Management (2014-2015): managed the Green Waste Recycling System project, managed engineers, drafting and design, shop work, and project budget & schedule
Support For Concept Systems in Aerospace Construction stand project
Project involved supporting the testing and commissioning of airliner construction stands using the Siemens platform. Work consisted mostly of IO testing and commissioning of Concept Systems code in various stands involved in the production line
